Organized by Waldemar Ratajczak, Peter Nijkamp and Karima Kourtit, this ABC meeting aimed at organizing a fundamental brainstorm activity on the future position of urban agglomerations in an open and globalizing world, taking into consideration that modern urban agglomerations – be it concentrated urban areas or polynuclear settlements – tend to become economic and political powerhouses in a global network society.
Detailed information about this meeting and several related documents (including communications and photo gallery) can be found in the page of the event.
